Issue:
Ships navigating through unknown waters may unintentionally enter shallow or restricted zones, risking hull damage or grounding. Traditional navigation alerts may not be fast or visible enough to prompt immediate action from the crew.
Solution:
By integrating the NE Beacon and BSV Voice Synthesizer in the control room, the system provides both visual and audio alerts when the ship enters a predefined shallow water zone. The NE beacon flashes and the BSV broadcasts a voice message such as “No-go area detected! Verify current position.” to alert the captain or navigation officer to take immediate corrective action.
