Issue
In automotive manufacturing lines, each part must be scanned for its serial or manufacturing number. Sometimes, the vision system fails to read or missrecords these numbers, resulting in data discrepancies. This compromises traceability and quality control, potentially leading to production rework, delays, or product recalls.
Solution
A Vision System paired with a Mini PC monitors parts moving along a conveyor and reads their manufacturing numbers. When an error or missing data is detected, the system sends a HTTP command to the PATLITE LA6 Signal Tower Light, which provides a clear and immediate visual alert. This real-time indication helps operators quickly respond to quality issues, improving traceability and reducing defect risks
